WeMinister is a software service operated by TDFJR, LLC, 151 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883. This Policy explains how WeMinister handles information when churches, organizations, administrators, and volunteers use the service.

Information we collect

We may collect account names, email addresses, organization details, billing status, support communications, login and security information, browser/device details, and ministry scheduling information. Organizations may add volunteer names, contact information, ministry qualifications, availability, family groupings, assignments, portal access details, and communication preferences.

How information is used

We use information to operate accounts, build and publish schedules, send requested reminders and urgent ministry notices, provide volunteer access, process subscriptions, secure the service, provide support, maintain records, and improve WeMinister.

Payments

Payments are processed by Helcim through TDFJR, LLC’s Chandelier account. WeMinister does not store complete card or bank-account numbers. The payment descriptor may reference The Chandelier Community Event Center rather than WeMinister.

Email, text, and notifications

Email reminders may be delivered through connected email services. Text messages are delivered through Telnyx only to phone numbers saved by an organization. Volunteers opt in by checking the unchecked SMS consent box in the signed-in Volunteer Portal or by replying YES to a one-time permission request. Consent, the date of consent, opt-out choices, and delivery activity are recorded for compliance and service operation. Volunteers may uncheck the portal setting or reply STOP at any time to opt out; HELP returns assistance information.

Text messages may concern ministry assignments, reminders, schedule changes, substitute requests, cancellations, and urgent church notices. Frequency varies based on assignments and church activity, typically no more than 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or using WeMinister or participating in ministry. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, payments, email delivery, text messaging, browser notifications, and customer support. They may process limited information only as needed to provide those functions.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with the organization that manages the schedule, authorized service providers, legal authorities when required, or a successor if the service is reorganized or transferred.

Retention and deletion

Information may remain saved after a trial ends so an organization can resume service without rebuilding its schedule. Authorized administrators may request export or deletion.

Security

We use account authentication, encrypted connections, restricted credentials, signed text-message webhooks, and organization-level data separation.

Your choices

You may decline browser notifications, turn off text messages in the signed-in Volunteer Portal, reply STOP to text messages, update organization or volunteer information, cancel a subscription, or request access, correction, export, or deletion of applicable information.

Children

WeMinister is provided to organizations and is not directed to children for independent account creation.
