Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how WeMinister handles information when churches, organizations, administrators, and volunteers use the service.

Information we collect

We may collect account names, email addresses, organization details, billing status, support communications, login and security information, browser/device details, and ministry scheduling information. Organizations may add volunteer names, contact information, ministry qualifications, availability, family groupings, assignments, and portal access details.

How information is used

We use information to operate accounts, build and publish schedules, send requested reminders, provide volunteer access, process subscriptions, secure the service, provide support, maintain records, and improve WeMinister.

Payments

Payments are processed by Helcim. WeMinister does not store complete card or bank-account numbers. The payment descriptor may reference The Chandelier Community Event Center, the operating business behind WeMinister.

Email and notifications

Email reminders may be delivered through connected Google services. Browser and phone notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging and require the recipient’s permission. Notification registrations can include a device token and basic browser information needed for delivery.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, payments, email delivery, browser notifications, and customer support. They may process limited information only as needed to provide those functions and under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with the organization that manages the schedule, authorized service providers, legal authorities when required, or a successor if the service is reorganized or transferred.

Retention and deletion

Information may remain saved after a trial ends so an organization can resume service without rebuilding its schedule. Authorized administrators may request export or deletion. Some billing, security, and legal records may be retained when reasonably necessary or required by law.

Security

We use account authentication, encrypted connections, restricted credentials, and organization-level data separation. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so administrators should use strong passwords and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

Your choices

You may decline browser notifications, update organization or volunteer information, cancel a subscription, or request access, correction, export, or deletion of applicable information. Organizations are responsible for responding to their volunteers’ privacy requests concerning records they control.

Children

WeMinister is provided to organizations and is not directed to children for independent account creation. Organizations that enter information about minors are responsible for obtaining any permission required for their ministry operations.
